Jack Krichavsky, CPA, is the president of Almada Corp., a firm he founded to provide financial and strategic consulting services to both publicly and privately-held midsized companies. Jack retired as a partner of Arthur Andersen LLP, the international professional services firm, in 2000 after 28 years of service. At Arthur Andersen, he was the partner in charge of the Commercial Services and Small Business Practices of the Hartford, Connecticut office. In this capacity, he had overall responsibility for the firm’s practice, serving clients in the technology, manufacturing and distribution industries. Jack specializes in working with growth-oriented, closely-held companies. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and in assisting his clients to obtain debt and equity financing, including taking companies public through initial public offerings as well as privatization of public companies. In the technology sector, he has worked with software, internet, specialized equipment and biotechnology companies. Representative clients include the Colt Defense & Manufacturing Companies, Royal Precision, Inc., Alstom Signaling, Inc., Agion Technologies, Inc., and Litchfield Insurance Group. Jack played important roles in the founding of the Connecticut Technology Council and the Hartford Chapter of the Entrepreneurship Institute. He is a board director for four non-profit organizations, and is a past chairman of the board of directors of the Hebrew Home & Hospital. Jack has a BA from Adelphi University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania. |
