Pro Career:
An exceptional special teams player, was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent in 2002. Spent two years with the Vikings before joining the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles for one season each. Signed by the Cardinals on April 28, 2006.
2005: Played in just six games with the Eagles but finished tied for fifth on the team with 15 special teams tackles twice led the team with four special teams tackles, vs. GB (11/27); vs. Was. (1/1/06).
2004: Finished second on the Giants with 19 special teams tackles did not record any defensive statistics.
2003: Blocked a Jeff Feagles punt vs. NYG (10/26) saw action in only six games for the Vikings and finished with six special teams tackles.
2002: As a rookie with the Vikings, led the team with a career-high 26 special teams tackles made first career start in the season finale @ Det (12/29), posting six tackles and one pass defensed had five special teams tackles vs. Buf (9/15), which was a career high and the 2nd-highest single-game total in Vikings history became the first Vikings rookie since Tommy Hannon (1977) to recover an onside kick @ TB (11/3) made first career interception vs. GB (11/17) off QB Brett Favre and added two tackles, one pass defensed, and three special teams tackles recorded four tackles and an interception vs. Mia (12/21) picking off QB Jay Fiedler.
College:
Finished his Minnesota career with 155 tackles played both safety and wide receiver throughout his college career ... a first-team All-Big Ten selection as a senior, was also selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl ... Started 10 games at free safety and one at strong safety in his first full season on the defensive side of the ball as a senior was moved to WR as a junior after spending his sophomore season at FS ... forced to sit out the 1998 season after transferring from Southern Methodist played WR during his freshman year at SMU and had 19 receptions for 352 yards and four touchdowns.
