Mr. Jacobson is a Policy Advisor in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Washington, D.C., office. He supports federal and state lobbying initiatives for corporations, coalitions, non-profit groups and associations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jacobson was a senior account executive for public affairs at Ketchum Public Relations. There he developed and executed a variety of innovative programs, including implementing communications systems to impact congressional and state legislative outcomes. While at Ketchum, he coordinated media campaigns, provided government relations insight to clients and developed public affairs outreach plans focused on increasing client visibility and proactively positioning clients in key reputation areas. Mr. Jacobson previously worked at Dittus Communications, aiding a host of energy and environment clients to meet their government relations, public affairs and public relations objectives. Before joining Dittus, Mr. Jacobson was a lobbyist at Morgan Meguire, a boutique energy and environmental lobbying firm specializing in public power, natural gas and nuclear issues. While at Morgan Meguire, he undertook authorization and appropriations work for a variety of clients. |
