With more than 19 years of experience in software engineering, Jaap has been instrumental in the development of Skyscape software technology. A member of the Skyscape team since its earliest days, Jaap has brought his extensive knowledge of software architecture and design to bear for Skyscape's products. Jaap previously worked for Hitachi Computer Products, Informix Software, and Sequent Computer Systems. He worked on a variety of products, including a backup manager, a Java application server, a CORBA performance framework, and a systems management framework. A graduate of the Hogeschool Oost Nederland Institute of Technology in The Netherlands, Jaap earned a B.S. in computer science. He did his thesis work at the National Research Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. |
