Favorite Childhood Trip: La Jolla, California - I have great memories of the La Jolla Cove, seeing seals on the shoreline rocks, swimming in the ocean, hunting for seashells with my sister, La Valencia Hotel, Torry Pines and traveling across the bridge to Coronado Island.
Other Great Trips: Enjoying the culture, history and art museums of London and traveling "The Chunnel" to Paris, France...spending a summer on the Kenai Peninsula living in a tent in the shadow of Mt. Marathon & working at a seafood processing plant in Seward, Alaska...Disneyland with my family and the experience of it through the eyes of my two boys on their 1st-ever visit.
Favorite City: My love for art (especially impressionaist art at the Musee d'Orsay) the River Siene, and the food, history and beauty of Paris makes this a top choice. Boulder, Colorado for the Flatirons, University of Colorado, proximity to great skiing and the outdoor lifestyle that makes living in Colorado so special.
