Mr. Tsuruta was elected a Director of the Company in 1999. He is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Aeon USA. Mr. Tsuruta was Senior Vice President of Aeon USA from 1996 to 2000 and Vice President and Deputy General Manager of Aeon USA from 1990 to 1996. Mr. Tsuruta also serves as designate member of the board of directors of the World Wide Retail Exchange as well as a member of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Compensation Committee of the World Wide Retail Exchange.
