Irwin C. Gerson has been a Director of the Company since May 8, 2001. From 1995 until December 1998, Mr. Gerson served as Chairman of Lowe McAdams Healthcare and prior thereto had been, since 1986, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of William Douglas McAdams, Inc., one of the largest advertising agencies in the U.S. specializing in pharmaceutical marketing and communications to healthcare professionals. In February 2000, he was inducted into the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame. Mr. Gerson has a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Fordham University and an MBA from the NYU Graduate School of Business Administration. He is a director of Andrx Corporation, which specializes in proprietary drug delivery technologies, and eXegenice Pharmaceutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical drug development company, both Nasdaq listed public companies. |
