Mr. Virk is an experienced entrepreneur who has served for almost 15 years in a number of hands-on general management positions with high-tech startups. He has also worked as a strategic management consultant to Fortune 500 organizations. Prior to starting CambridgeDocs, Mr. Virk co-founded Elantix, an enterprise software application company that was one of the pioneers of the Partner Relationship Management (PRM), and was acquired in 2000 by Partnerware, Inc. Before Elantix Mr. Virk was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Brainstorm Technologies, a groupware and Internet solutions firm based in Cambridge, and at which Mr. Virk managed a team of up to 70 people. Previous to joining Brainstorm, Mr. Virk was a consultant with Andersen Consulting., where he worked both as a developer and manager of numerous client/server projects for Fortune 500 clients.Mr. Virk holds a BS in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. |
