Irene Parker joined Orqis Medical's executive team in 1999. Working in conjunction with the company's Medical Director and Directors of Clinical/Regulatory/QA Operations, Irene is responsible for the development and implementation of the company's regulatory and clinical programs. Her career spans two decades of management level experience in medical device product development, design and implementation of clinical protocol, regulatory submissions, and hands-on clinical healthcare experience. Irene started her career as a board-certified registered nurse and transitioned to the medical device industry, serving in a variety of clinical and quality assurance positions at C.D. Medical, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow Chemical). While at C.D. Medical, she was promoted to Technical Services Supervisor for product development. She later joined Baxter Healthcare's CardioVascular Group, where she served as manager of regulatory affairs and clinical programs. Prior to joining Orqis, she served as director of medical affairs for Biopsys Medical.
