Ira Stepanian is a member of Brock Capital Group LLC. Mr. Stapanian spent the bulk of his career at the Bank of Boston, serving thirty-three years there from 1963 to 1995. From 1987 to 1995, Mr. Stepanian was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Boston which has since merged with Fleet Boston Financial and then Bank of America.
Mr. Stepanian is currently Director of Common Angels, Inc and Boston Public Library Foundation, and is a Trustee for the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a Trustee and former Chairman of the Museum of Science and a Trustee Emeritus for Tufts University. In addition, Mr. Stepanian serves as an Advisory Board Member to the Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and Legal Seafoods, Inc.
Mr. Stepanian was formerly Director of the Bank of Boston, the First National Bank of Boston, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the International Monetary Conference, The Bankers Roundtable, NYNEX/Telesectir, TAD Resources Internaional, Ble Eagle golf Centers, Inc., General Chemical, Inc., and GenTek, Inc. He was a Driector and Trustee of the museum of Fine Arts, a member of the Federal Advisory Council, Chairman of the Senior Advisory Council of New England Banking Institute and the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, and a Fellow of the Center for Business and Government at the Kennedy School, Harvard University.
Mr. Stepanian has a B.A. from Tufts University, and an M.B.A. from the Boston College Graduate School of Business Administration. |
