Ira Ehrenpreis has served as General Partner at Technology Partners since 1996. Previously, he had worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Juniper Partners venture capital firm. Mr. Ehrenpreis has been involved in several entrepreneurial ventures and is an active leader at Stanford University, where his contributions have included teaching a course on venture capital and serving on the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School. He is a member of several industry advisory boards, including the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE), the Energy Venture Fair, Cleantech and the Southern California Tech Coast Alliance. Mr. Ehrenpreis is the Co-Chairman of both the VCNetwork and the YVCA, two non-profit organizations comprising more than 1,000 venture capitalists. He also serves on the Education Committee of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Mr. Ehrenpreis received his JD/MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and Stanford Law School, where he was Associate Editor of Stanford Law Review. He holds a BA from UCLA, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. |
