Ira G. Pearl joined AGL Resources in March of 2005 and serves as Vice President of Engineering Services and Supply Chain. He is responsible for leading several departments, including engineering, construction, fleet, crisis management, supply chain management and environmental, health & safety.
Prior to joining AGL Resources, Pearl held several executive positions at Delta Air Lines, including the areas of environmental affairs, ground operations, safety and security, and flight operations.
Pearl is a licensed pilot and previously served on the Board of Directors of ARINC, Inc., an $800MM privately held provider of aviation, communication and transportation services.
Pearl graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He then completed his post-graduate education in nuclear engineering and spent more than six years as a nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy.
He is married to the former Leslie Spencer of Atlanta, Georgia. They have one daughter. |
