Ines Andrade has been an Executive Director of Grupo Rio Real, a Spanish holding company whose principal businesses include owning and managing two five star boutique hotels (including restaurants and spas) in Spain and Mexico, a championship 18-hole golf course in Spain, tap water distribution systems and agro businesses, since July 2004. Additionally, Grupo Rio Real owns and manages a portfolio of real estate and public and privately held financial holdings. Ines is directly involved in the management committees of all group companies and is a member of the team that has responsibility for strategic decisions with respect to all portfolio investments Prior to joining Grupo Rio Real, Ines served as director of analysis at Inversiones Ibersuizas, one of the largest private equity firms in Spain, and later as senior investment manager at its subsidiary, Inova Capital, which specializes in early stage technology-related businesses. In 1988, she was a founding partner of Citius S.A., one of the first companies in Spain dedicated to the origination, investment and management of private equity transactions. Inés began her career in 1984 at JP Morgan where she spent five years in the Financial Mergers & Acquisitions Department in New York and Madrid. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and International Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Georgetown University. |
