Dr. Kaul joins Oscient from Abt Associates Clinical Trials a division of Abt Associates Inc., a health research consulting firm, where he was most recently the Division Vice President and also held positions in medical affairs, clinical operations and business development. At Abt Associates, Dr. Kaul led the company's full-service clinical research organization and served on the company's management committee. Prior to Abt Associates, Dr. Kaul was Medical Director for International Medical Operations at Searle and served in clinical research functions at Boehringer Ingelheim and in medical services positions at Parexel International. Dr. Kaul received his medical degree in anesthesiology from the University of Kashmir in India and his Masters in Public Health from the Harvard University School of Public Health. |
