Ilene Colina was named Corporate Vice President of Human Resources of Apogen Technologies in February 2000. Ms. Colina brings more than 20 years of human resources and government contracts management experience to her leadership position.
In her current role as Corporate Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Colina has oversight for all corporate Human Resources functions including employee relations, compensation programs, benefits, recruiting, training and development and the human resources information system.
Ms. Colina began her career with Apogen Technologies in 1982 (then Science and Engineering Associates). She has held positions in accounting, contract administration and management, and human resources administration and management. Over the past seven years, Ms. Colina, through her organizational and leadership skills, has been instrumental in leading Company administrative functions during a period of significant growth. In her various management positions, she has had responsibility to redesign administrative functions to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
Ms. Colina is a member of the Board of Directors of the Human Resource Management Association (HRMA) of New Mexico and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) New Mexico State Council. She presided as President of HRMA in 2005. In 2004, Ms. Colina received the SHRM of New Mexico Human Resources Excellence Award for Most Visionary HR Professional.
Ms. Colina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the College of Santa Fe. |
