As Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services Ian Whiting is responsible for Brocade global sales activity including planning forecasting and the development of optimized strategies for bringing new products to market. He also develops programs to increase sales force effectiveness and to nurture key OEM and channel relationships.
Whiting joined Brocade in 2001 as Executive Director of Partner Sales EMEA and was promoted to Vice President of EMEA and Latin America where he was responsible for Brocade sales operations growth and profitability throughout the region. Prior to Brocade Whiting was Director of Compaq StorageWorks EMEA. He was also Vice President EMEA for networking hardware company NetWorth and held executive management positions at Canadian software company Cognos Inc. and UK networking distributor Data Translation.
Whiting has a BS in French and German from the University College Swansea and an MS in European Business Studies from the Cranfield School of Management. |
