Ian Weston is senior vice president, special projects, for Dow Jones & Company and is responsible for major corporate initiatives. He reports to the chief executive officer.
Mr. Weston joined Dow Jones in January 2008 in his current role.
Mr. Weston began his career as an engineer with British Gas. He joined the Boston Consulting Group in London in 1987. In 1995 he moved to News International, the leading U.K. newspaper publisher and subsidiary of News Corp., where he held senior management positions in operations and corporate development.
Mr. Weston has a degree in engineering, economics and management from Oxford University in England, and earned an MBA with distinction at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
He lives in Scarsdale, N.Y., with his wife and three children.
