Mr. Brown is the executive director of Sedgebrook, an Erickson retirement community currently being built and operated in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Mr. Brown has been employed with Erickson for over five years. He previously served as the Executive Director of Erickson’s Greenspring campus in Northern Virginia and as Associate Executive Director of Erickson’s Cedar Crest campus in Northern New Jersey.Prior to joining Erickson, Ian served in several other capacities, including as a vice president for Collington Episcopal Life Care Retirement Community in Maryland, as director for program services for a Johns Hopkins Healthcare affiliate in Baltimore, and as director of corporate community affairs for Dimensions Healthcare System, a hospital system based in Largo, Maryland.Mr. Brown is the recipient of a B.A. from Brooklyn College in New York City. He also holds both an M.S. in strategic human resources/organization development and a Graduate Certificate in senior housing and care from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.He has served on numerous community organizations’ boards and currently is on the board of advisors of the Lake County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Chicago Community Trust. |
