Ian Gaunt, senior vice president international for Carnival Corporation & plc, is based at Carnival’s London office where he has overall responsibility for management and supervision of the company’s newbuilding projects, acquisitions and various other ventures in Europe and the U.K.
Gaunt, also serves as liaison for Carnival’s interests and ventures in the European and British markets.
Prior to joining Carnival Gaunt was senior partner at Sinclair, Roche & Temperley, the London-based law firm responsible for negotiating all of Carnival’s shipbuilding contracts.
Gaunt earned his law degree from Cambridge University. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong, and is fluent in English, German, French, Italian and Mandarin Chinese.
