Managing Director DuPont Australia & New Zealand, Group Managing Director ASEAN
Hutch Ranck, managing director of DuPont Australia and New Zealand, is an Australian citizen, although born and educated in the United States. He joined DuPont in 1979.
He held management positions in Financial Planning and several key businesses before transferring to head office in Wilmington, Del., in 1985 to become international product manager for White Pigments & Mineral Products (WPWP). Two years later, he became director WPMP for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
He returned to Australia in 1993 to take up director roles with Polymers, Fluoro Products, Information Systems, Crop Protection Chemicals, Engineering Polymers and Packaging and Industrial Polymers, before being appointed Managing Director.
On April 1, 2004 he was appointed group managing director for the ASEAN countries in addition to his Australian & New Zealand role.
His external appointments include director of APVMA, the Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority; vice president of the National Association of Crop Production and Animal Health, director of Dunlena Pty. Ltd., a joint venture of DuPont and the CSIRO; and is a Business Council of Australia representative to the Prime Minister's Science, Engineering and Innovation Council, PMSEIC. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, majoring in Finance, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |
