Mr. Ramsbottom, was appointed President and Director of Rentech on September 13, 2005 and Chief Executive Officer on December 15, 2005. Mr. Ramsbottom comes to Rentech with over 25 years of proven business leadership, holding the position of CEO at several private and publicly traded companies prior his appointment at Rentech. Additionally, he has worked in a consulting capacity to companies providing business expertise as a value added partner, leveraging relationships between senior lenders, equity sponsors, and investment banks. Mr. Ramsbottom business career has been highlighted with an acute ability to develop smaller companies into larger entities and bring the necessary elements for business growth, management structure, business planning, capital access and partnering, together in a successful formula. Mr. Ramsbottom holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State College.
