Mr. Jones is a renewable energy expert with 30 years' experience in working with the military on renewable energy solutions. He worked as a civilian for various Army agencies including the US Army Concepts Analysis Agency and the US Army Center for Army Analysis where he studied and addressed renewables for the deployed military as well as for military installations world wide. His renewable energy work has ranged from Special Advisor in Renewable Energy for the United States Military Academy to energy auditor for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. He is the author of numerous renewable power and energy reports which can be found on the Defense Technical Information Center's website (www.dtic.mil). Mr. Jones is the first innovator to design, develop, test and field a "first of its kind" solar and wind, trailer-mounted power platform for use by the military, which is now in its 6 th production variation. This last work culminated in his being awarded the Department of Energy's Mobility Energy Efficiency Award to an Individual for work in spearheading the Army's hybrid, renewables power program as presented by the HON Spencer Abraham, Secretary of Energy. |
