Hudson has previously held positions in technology and manufacturing management in the fields of magnetic thin film disks, magnetic bubble memories, scientific instruments, and MEMS. He was Vice President of Disk Engineering at Flextor Corp developing high-density flexible metal media for magnetic recording. Prior to that, he worked 13 years at Akashic Memories where he held positions as Chief Technologist and Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering. Earlier he spent six years at Intel managing bubble memory design and packaging where he was recognized with an Intel Individual Achievement Award in 1982. He holds 8 patents and has authored numerous technical publications including a textbook chapter. Hudson received his Ph.D. in Physics from Colorado State University. |
