Dr. Hubertus Erlen, Chairman of the Executive Board of Schering AG, is responsible for Strategy & Business Development, Corporate Communication, Senior Executives, and the function Corporate Audit. In addition, he is responsible for the Code of Conduct Compliance.
He began his career with Schering AG in 1972 in a pharmaceutical manufacturing function. In 1978 he joined the central office of the Executive Board, which he later headed. Subsequently, he served as a member of the Electroplating Divisional Board, among other things, in the USA. In 1985, Dr. Erlen was appointed as a member of the Executive Board of Schering AG, and was, among other things, responsible for the region North America as well as the functions Production and Human Resources.
