Howard Jaffe, MD is President and Chairman of the Board of the Gilead Foundation. He also serves as Senior Medical Advisor at Gilead Sciences. From 1991 to 1999, he served as a member of Gilead’s senior management team including roles as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President, Drug Development. From 2002 to 2004, he served as Research Director at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Dr. Jaffe is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and has served as an Attending Physician in Internal Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Jaffe received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from Yale University. |
