Mr. Chalmers joined us in February 2003 as Senior Vice President for Planning and Corporate Communications, after serving as a management consultant to us for several years. From 1978 to 2003, he had served as President and Principal Consultant for Chalmers & Co., where he gained a national reputation for providing strategic planning and organizational development support to a broad range of both entrepreneurial companies and nonprofit organizations. Chalmers is active in civic and charitable organizations, having served as Chairman of the Board of KLRU, Austin’s public television station, and as President and CEO of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He was instrumental in creating Austin City Limits, currently the longest-running music program on television, and served as Executive Producer of that program in its early years. |
