Howard M. Lorber has been Executive Chairman of the Board since 2007 and a director since 1987. Mr. Lorber also served as our Chairman of the Board from 1990 through December 2006 and as Chief Executive Officer from 1993 until December 2006. Mr. Lorber has been Chief Executive Officer of Vector Group Ltd. a holding company since January 2006 and a director since January 2001and was President and Chief Operating Officer from January 2001 until December 2005. Mr. Lorber has been Vice Chairman of the Board of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. an investment banking and brokerage firm since July 2006. Previously he was Chairman of the Board of Ladenburg Thalman Financial Services from May 2001 to July 2006. Mr. Lorber has been a stockholder and registered representative of Aegis Capital Corp. a broker-dealer and member firm of the NASD since 1984. Mr. Lorber also serves as a director of United Capital Corp. a manufacturing and real estate company since May 1991. He is also a trustee of Long Island University and is on the board of Babson College. |
