Mr. Pollack is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Group in the Denver office, and is co-chair of the firm's Hospitality Group. His practice focuses primarily on real estate development and finance where he represents both local and national developers of major retail, office, industrial, hotel, multifamily residential and mixed-use properties in all aspects of the development process, including due diligence, entitlement approvals, financing, site acquisition, construction and asset disposition. Mr. Pollack represents a number of major clients, including Bank of America, Beacon Capital Partners, California Bank & Trust, Corporex Colorado, Equity West, Fortress Investment Funds, Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund, JPB Holdings, McWhinney Enterprises, Means-Knauss Partners, Resolute Investments, Stevens Holtze Magnolia Hotels, Stonebridge Companies, Summit Investment Management, Trammell Crow Company, Urban Frontier and Wellsford Real Properties. He has served as counsel for developers of numerous different real estate projects, including over 75 local and national hotels; a variety of large-scale mixed commercial/residential and multifamily residential projects in metropolitan Denver and the Colorado mountain resort areas; and office, industrial and retail projects both locally and nationally. Mr. Pollack also represents lenders and equity investors in complex financing transactions involving real estate both locally and nationally. Additionally, he serves as counsel to both landlords and tenants in ground, office and retail lease transactions. Prior to moving to Denver in 1993, Mr. Pollack practiced in the real estate department at Richards, Layton & Finger in Wilmington, Del. Mr. Pollack is very active in Denver's business and civic communities and a frequent lecturer on real estate matters in Colorado. |
