Dr. Braverman is CompBenefit's senior vice president and national vision director. He is president of the vision division and also chief executive officer of Ultimate Optical, a wholesale prescription optical company that is part of the CompBenefits family of companies.
Prior to joining CompBenefits, Dr. Braverman was the chief executive officer of VisionCare Inc., a company acquired by CompBenefits. Dr. Braverman has practiced optometry for over 28 years in the state of Florida and has served as president of the American Optometric Association. He is a former president of the Southern Council of Optometrists, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Broward County (Florida) Optometric Association. He was also a member and chairman of the Florida State Board of Optometry.
Dr. Braverman holds a B.S. from the University of Miami (Fla.) and an O.D. from the University of Houston. |
