Hosang Lee is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, he focuses his practice on patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation.
Hosang has experience in the prosecution of foreign and U.S. patents and due diligence analysis on patentability, validity and infringement. He is knowledgeable in the areas of semiconductor devices, mobile and landline network technology, analog and digital circuits and display devices including PDP, LCD and OLED. In addition, he has counseled numerous start up companies regarding patent procurement and portfolio development. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as a patent attorney in Korea. He has extensive experience in counseling Korean and international clients before the Korea Patent Office and the Korea Patent Court corresponding to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
His professional memberships include the New York State Bar Association and the Korean Patent Attorney Association.
Hosang received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Korean Patent Bar.
