The Geicke Group of companies own and operate several factories in and employs over 5,000 workers with offices in major cities in the PRC. Mr Geicke is also the co-founder of VinaCapital a Vietnam Opportunity Fund listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Geicke has been residing in Asia for 25 years along with the family business which is headquartered in Hong Kong . He has extensive operating and investing experience in this region. Mr. Geicke has been the elected President of the German Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong for 4 years and in 2005 became the President of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong . He is a board member of the German Business Association in and a founding and active Director of the Hong Kong – Thailand Business Council. He is also a member of the Trade and Industry Advisory Board of the Government of the HKSAR since 2004. Mr. Geicke is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization and was Hong Kong Chapter Chair 2000-02 and Asia Pacific Board Member 2002-05. Mr. Horst F. Geicke has a master degree in Economics and Business Law from the State University of his native city Hamburg. |
