For Hope, public relations is the perfect career because it incorporates her love of writing and demands the ample creativity she exudes. Hope's Scorpio ways have fueled a career sparked with determination and desire for helping others, which, in 2001, landed her at the doorstep of John Bailey & Associates Inc., Public Relations (JB&A).
At JB&A, Hope enjoys working on a variety of public relations services for many of the company's non-automotive clients, including health care and retail accounts such as St. John Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Macy’s. Additionally, Hope enjoyed four years "clowning around" with The Parade Company.
As a fresh-faced college grad, Hope headed for her first job at public relations and marketing agency, Marx Layne & Company, where she worked with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, The Kroger Co. of Michigan and the Michigan chapter of the American Institute of Architects. It was also where she netted the love of her life her husband and fellow PR practitioner, Jason.
Hope earned a bachelor’s degree in communication while getting her "Sparty on at Michigan State University and spending a summer semester abroad at the University of London. In 2006, Hope revisited her academic pursuits and earned her APR designation from the Public Relations Society of America. |
