Holly M. Hillberg is Chief Technology Officer for Carestream Health, Inc., the standalone company that resulted from the sale of Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group to Onex Corporation, Toronto, Canada, in May 2007.
Hillberg leads a global team of research and development professionals in creating and commercializing digital solutions for healthcare institutions worldwide. Her responsibilities include creating technology and intellectual property strategy, setting direction for advanced research and innovation, and driving key commercialization efforts. Hillberg also is responsible for functions that include regulatory affairs; health, safety and environment; and product design and usability.
Prior to joining Carestream Health, Hillberg spent 24 years at Eastman Kodak Company in a range of both technical and business leadership positions.
She served as Kodak's Director, Corporate Engineering, and Vice President, Research and Development. In this capacity, Hillberg led a global organization that delivered engineering and design expertise for Kodak's new product portfolio.
Prior to R&D, Hillberg served as Director of Operations for the Dynamic Imaging unit of Kodak's Entertainment Imaging business. Her responsibilities included leadership of the manufacturing, engineering and supply chain aspects of this business.
She also spent time with Kodak's Document Imaging business, as Commercialization Manager for the Worldwide Production Scanner business. In this role, Hillberg established a new strategic direction, led a successful product commercialization process and created market leadership as the business transitioned to the digital world.
In 1994, she was named General Manager of the Kodak Picture Exchange business within Kodak's former Digital & Applied Imaging division. She also held the positions of New Business Development and Strategic Alliance Manager within this division.
Earlier in her career, Hillberg held product management, marketing, development and manufacturing positions in Kodak's former Copy Products Division.
Hillberg is a member of the Women's Forum of Kodak Employees and a founder and current co-leader of the WFKE Mentoring Program. In June 2005, she received the Jane Lanphear Legacy Award given in Honor of Jane D. Lanphear, Ph.D. The award recognizes women who exemplify the Kodak values, provide exceptional mentoring to many women, and who demonstrate a high degree of balance between career, personal, and community responsibilities. She also has been recognized as a finalist for the Rochester Athena Award and the Network Northstar Leadership Award.
Hillberg earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. She completed the Executive Development Program from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and the Manufacturing Executive Program at the University of Michigan. |
