Holger Liepmann is executive vice president, Global Nutrition. He was appointed to this position in October of 2006. Previously, he was executive vice president, Pharmaceutical Products Group.

Liepmann also served as senior vice president, Abbott International, the commercial operations for Abbott's international pharmaceutical business. Liepmann first joined Abbott in 1986 as a business development manager for Abbott International, and has since served in various management positions including divisional vice president and regional director, Europe, and general manager, Spain, for Abbott's International Division and vice president, Japan Operations.

Prior to joining Abbott, Liepmann was a marketing manager, Europe, for Cutter Laboratories, a subsidiary of Bayer AG.

He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.
