Hisham Barghout is a Managing Director at Jefferies Quarterdeck, the Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking Group at Jefferies. Mr. Barghout joined the firm in October 2004 and works in the Los Angeles office with a focus on the homeland security and defense electronics sectors. During his 13 years in investment banking, he has worked on over $8 billion in financings for companies such AboveNet, Finisar, Harmonic, Vitesse, REMEC, SDL and Xircom. He has also worked on M&A transactions for companies including Compass Aerospace, CyTerra, JDS Uniphase and SafeView. Previously, Mr. Barghout was a Director at CIBC World Markets in the Technology Group with a focus on the communications equipment sector. Prior to joining CIBC, he worked with Goldman Sachs in New York where he focused primarily on financial institutions. Mr. Barghout received a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles. |
