Hidayet L. Kutat is a results-oriented, senior operations executive with 30 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, profit improvement and project management. Hidayet specializes in cost of manufacturer (COM) modeling, strategic business planning, inventory management, process safety management and quality improvement. He is experienced in dealing with technical, safety, environmental, quality and HR challenges and has a proven track record in forming cohesive teams, building organization competence and integrating business processes to achieve breakthrough performance. Hidayet has been involved in numerous operational turnarounds, corporate restructurings and revitalization assignments. He has served as interim CEO, CRO and COO for distressed organizations in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, packaging, engineering, printing, power & utility and chemical production.
Most recently, Hidayet led the successful fast track execution of a turnaround of a full-service sign company as its President and Owner. In another recent role, he served as Chief Restructuring Officer to a deep injection and oil well drilling enterprise, where he improved profit margins by 30%. Hidayet also served as interim President and COO for a plating and powder coat operation, where he improved productivity by 45% and decreased products returns by 60% and manufacturing costs by 35%.
Hidayet received his MBA in General Management from Goldey-Beacom College and his BS / MS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
