Born in 1958 Hervé Philippe is a graduate from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences-Po) and also holds a "Licence" (equivalent to a Bachelors' Degree) in Economics.
Hervé Philippe began his career at the Crédit National in 1982 as "Chargé d'Affaires" for the financing of companies in the Ile-de-France region. He then joins the French Stock Market Operations Commission (COB) in 1989 as Head of the sector regrouping French companies registered in the "Cote Officielle" (Official List) after which he becomes from 1992 to 1998 Head of Operations and Financial information.
In 1998 he joins the Sagem Group as head of Legal and Administrative affairs for Sagem SA(1998-2000) Financial and Administrative Director for the Sfim (1999-2000) and Communications Director for Sagem SA (2000-2001). In 2001 he becomes Financial Director and is made administrator in 2003.
In November 2005 he joins Havas as Chief Financial Officer.
Moreover since 2004 Hervé Philippe is a member of the Supervisory Board of NRJ and a Knight of the Order of Merit (Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite). |
