Hermann Buerger was appointed to EMS Technologies’ Board of Directors in 2003, and currently is chairman of the Audit Committee. A senior executive with the German bank, Commerzbank AG, Mr. Buerger currently serves as a Commerzbank Regional Board Member, and as CEO of the bank’s operations throughout the Americas.
A resident of New York, Mr. Buerger is also a director of Ptek Holdings, Inc., a member of the International Advisory Board of Unibanco of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Wharton Real Estate Center.
He has previously served as a trustee of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and as vice chairman of the Institute of International Bankers.
A U.S. citizen and native of Germany, Mr. Buerger holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. |
