Dr. Herbert Dardik is Chief of the Department of Surgery at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey as well as Chief of Englewood's Vascular Surgical Service. He is also a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
He is a graduate, magna cum laude, of New York University and New York University School of Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his surgical residency at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York.
A prolific writer on vascular disease with over 400 journal articles, Dr. Dardik has traveled the globe giving lectures at virtually every major vascular convention. His work on the Dardik umbilical graft, his theory of fistula utilization for maintaining graft patency, his awards and honors by numerous national and international vascular societies uniquely qualify him for the LeMaitre Vascular Scientific Advisory Board. |
