Herbert O. Brock, Jr. (Shareholder) Professional Experience Mr. Brock's practice primarily concerns Construction Litigation matters. Mr. Brock began his legal career in New Jersey where he practiced for ten years and was a named partner in the firm of Morris, Brock and Partenhymer prior to moving to Florida. During law school, Mr. Brock received the American Jurisprudence Award for the study of Civil Procedure and served as the Research Editor of the Rutgers Camden Law Journal. Mr. Brock has practiced law in Florida with Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. since 1985 and is admitted to practice before all Florida Federal and State Courts. Mr. Brock lectures on construction issues including warranty claims, mold claims, building code claims and post hurricane recovery issues. In the area of construction, Mr. Brock has concentrated his practice on the representation of owners including first party claims against insurers, drafting construction contracts, construction lien law matters and litigating construction claims. Mr. Brock is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar.
