Herb Greenberg is a CNBC contributor and appears weekly on various programs including "Squawk Box," "Power Lunch" and "On the Money."
Greenberg is senior columnist for MarketWatch. He joined MarketWatch after six years as senior columnist for TheStreet.com. He previously spent 10 years as a six-day-a-week business columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. Until late 2003, Greenberg also wrote Fortune magazine's "Against the Grain" column, which specialized in tilting against Wall Street's conventional wisdom. Before that, he was the New York financial correspondent for the Chicago Tribune, joining the Tribune's New York bureau from its Chicago newsroom, where he covered the food and restaurant industries. Greenberg has also worked for Crain's Chicago Business, the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Amusement Business, and the Boca Raton News. Greenberg holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Miami. |
