Henry Lawson is president DDS worldwide and chief operating officer for Europe. His primary responsibility is the management of DDS operations in Europe and, in conjunction with the chairman and chief financial officer, the running of the company worldwide. He joined DDS in 1995 as European chief executive and was promoted to president in 1998. He was responsible for managing the transformation of DDS' US business in the late ’90s with a major focus on the next generation of PC applications. He led the team that conceived BrandOcean, a web application used by over 3,000 agency personnel worldwide. Under Henry's leadership, DDS has grown by over 100%. In Europe alone it has more than doubled its revenues, opening three new offices, including a very successful Irish operation. Henry joined DDS from Interep, the largest radio sales company in the US, where he was chairman and member of the executive council. Before this he worked as a consultant for Monitor Company in London, Milan, Boston and Toronto. Henry graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge with an MA in Engineering and continued his studies at Harvard Business School, where he gained an MBA with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar. In his spare time Henry has bet on global warming by planting two vineyards, one in England. He also enjoys private flying and playing with old cars around his home in West Sussex with his wife and three sons. |
