Dr. Henry T. Yang is the Chancellor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he also serves as professor of mechanical engineering. Formerly the Dean of Engineering and Neil Armstrong Distinguished Professor in Aerospace Engineering at Purdue University, Dr. Yang is a nationally recognized expert in automotive and aerospace engineering. He holds a Ph.D degree in engineering at Cornell University, as well as four honorary doctorates. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He is an active member of the Executive Committee of the American Association of Universities, the Steering Committee of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, and the Board of Trustees of University Research Association. |
