Chip Alexander joined Provident Community Bank June 2 1983 as a consumer lender and later began as a lender in the mortgage area.
Mr. Alexander was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 1999 became the Main Office Banking Center Sales Manager in 2000 a Commercial Lender in 2002 and appointed Vice President in 2004.
Mr. Alexander received a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1982 from the University of South Carolina Columbia South Carolina.
His civic activities include being a member of the local advisory board of the Salvation Army where he has served as Chairman and is currently serving as Treasurer. Mr. Alexander also serves on the Executive Board of the Palmetto Council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves as an adult volunteer with Troop 42.
