Henrique Costa Rzezinski graduated in Civil Engineering in 1971 at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In 1976, Rzezinski received a Master’s Degree in Planning at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with specialization in Regional, Urban and Economic planning.
Rzezinski worked at National Housing Bank from 1967 to 1987, where he held several positions, including President’s Chief of Staff.
From 1987 to 2000, Rzezinski was External Relations and International Trade Director at Xerox do Brazil Ltd. and was responsible for the corporate relationship with the Brazilian Government and for the negotiations of trade agreements.
During 1980 he also worked as a consultant of the World Bank and from 1994 to 2000 he was President of APRIMESC, the Brazilian Association of Information Technology Industry.
Rzezinski was also a professor of the Master of Science Program of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from 1980 to 1987 and wrote several publications.
Rzezinski is currently Senior Vice-President External Relations of Embraer and has been with the company since 2000. In 2005 he was nominated Chairman, Brazil-U.S. Business Council, Brazil Section.
