Henk Dijkgraaf was appointed to the Sasol board on 16 October 2006.
Mr Dijkgraaf holds a Master of Science (Mining Engineering) from Delft University in the Netherlands and participated in the Senior Executive Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States in 1987.
He is the former chief executive officer of the Dutch natural gas companies NAM, Gasunie and GasTerra and held various positions in the Royal Dutch Shell group between 1972 and 2003 in the Netherlands, Malaysia, Gabon, Syria and the United Kingdom including the positions of President, Shell Nederland, Director, Shell Exploration and Production and Chief Executive, Gas, Power and Coal. He is a member of the Boards of Eneco Holding and of the Royal Tropical Institute KIT and deputy chairman of the Netherlands Institute for the Near East (NINO). |
