Helmut Wilke leads Extreme Networks worldwide sales force and global channels, where he aligns them to provide enterprise and service provider customers with high performance, converged and secure network infrastructures. Wilke is a 25 year veteran in sales for the high technology industry. Throughout his career he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in solutions selling, accelerating sales force productivity and driving business improvement with measurable results. As senior vice president of operations and support for Sun Microsystems, Wilke drove sales productivity improvements by simplifying and globalizing sales support systems. Prior to this, he served as vice president of sales and president of Sun Microsystems, Germany, where he transitioned the sales force to a solutions-focused approach. Prior to Sun, Wilke was the CEO and president of Software AG, a leading manufacturer of software and systems for large corporations. Wilke obtained his PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Berlin. |
