As Vice President of Public Affairs Helen Knopp is responsible for El Paso Electric’s Community Development and Public Relations.
Knopp has more than 25 years of management experience in communications public relations marketing customer services and personnel management. She has also served as Executive Director for the Rio Grande Girl Scout Council in El Paso Texas and Las Cruces New Mexico where she was responsible for the overall operations of the Girl Scout Program including an eight-county region serving more than 6 000 girls and 3 000 volunteers. She has also worked for Salt River Project in Phoenix Arizona as Assistant General Manager of Communications and Public Affairs. Prior to that she worked for El Paso Electric for 10 years in various management capacities.
