Hedwig 'Hedy' Whitney joined AspenTech in 2005 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and is responsible for designing and implementing AspenTech’s global organizational management practices. Whitney brings to AspenTech an extensive background in leading human resources initiatives in diverse and rapidly-changing organizations. Prior to joining AspenTech, she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at New England Business Service, Inc., a leading business-to-business enterprise with 4300 employees that serves over 3 million small business customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France. Prior to her association with New England Business Service, Whitney held human resources leadership positions at Fidelity Investments, Bank of Boston, BayBanks, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the University of Massachusetts. Whitney served as Board Chair for the Make a Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, 2002 - 2006, and is a member of The Boston Club, and has previously served as Board Chairman of New England College of Finance. She holds a JD degree from Suffolk University Law School and a BA degree from Hamilton College. |
