Heather is in her 11th season as a full-time employee and her 8th as Director of Community Relations for the Tides. However, that does not include all of her work with the Tides. She worked as an usher at Harbor Park for several seasons before being brought on full-time. She oversees all of the mascot and player appearances throughout the year. Heather is also in charge of the Field of Dreams Program that allows Hampton Roads area youth baseball teams to take the field with their Norfolk Tides counterparts.
Heather is a graduate of Lake Taylor High School and finished her degree in Sports Management from Old Dominion University in 2002. Heather was recently married and resides in Portsmouth with her husband Todd and son Aidan. |
